This society is situated at the University of Jordan, the King Abdullah || School for information Technology Since 2017.

The IEEE CS at the University of Jordan had the privilege of visiting Arab Weather, where we had the opportunity to learn about their innovative weather forecasting technologies and how they leverage advanced data analytics to provide accurate weather predictions.
Visit to Arab Weather
On January 29, 2025, IEEE CS at the University of Jordan organized a visit to Arab Weather. During the visit, we were given an insightful tour of their operations and learned about their cutting-edge weather prediction models, as well as the challenges and breakthroughs in the field of meteorology. Arab Weather's team shared their expertise in applying machine learning and big data analytics to enhance the accuracy of weather forecasts, which provided us with a deeper understanding of how technology plays a crucial role in shaping our interaction with the environment. This visit was not only educational but also a great source of inspiration for students aspiring to work in the field of data science and environmental technology.

IEEE at the University of Jordan successfully organized "ITEEECUP 2 an inter-disciplinary competition designed to foster innovation and collaboration among IT students. Teams from six IT disciplines showcased their skills, creativity, and teamwork through challenging tasks. This year's event concluded with the BIT team earning a well-deserved victory and taking home the coveted CUP. The competition highlighted the incredible talent and potential of the participating students, inspiring all to aim higher in their respective fields.
